Anvil Survivors is an action rogue-lite that injects the high-risk anxiety of classic MMORPG (Knight Online) blacksmithing into the bullet heaven formula.
Unlike other survivor games, your true power doesn't stop at choosing an upgrade card. When it comes to your weapons and gear, you must fight your way to the Anvil, place your item on it, and make a choice: Do you play it safe? Or do you risk destroying your gear for god-like power?
Collect Upgrade Scrolls and magical Trina items to boost your upgrade success rates, creating unique and unpredictable builds every run. Kill bosses to loot unique weapons and unlock meta-progression that entirely changes the gameplay.
Oh, and you have a cat companion. Each one has its own personality and gameplay effect, from the loot-collecting Pati to the chaotic orange cat Biber, who might accidentally attack you.
Forge, Risk, Survive
The Anvil - Risk vs. Reward
The core mechanic that defines every run. Fight to reach the Anvil, place your gear on it, and gamble. Play it safe with small buffs, or risk total destruction for god-like power. Inspired by the nerve-wracking upgrade systems of classic MMORPGs like Knight Online.

A visual recipe that blends nostalgic pixel aesthetics with modern lighting effects and massive enemy counts on screen. Early development visuals already showcase the distinctive art direction.
Cat Companions
Every run is accompanied by a feline friend with its own personality and gameplay impact. From auto-looting to boosting luck to pure chaotic attacks, your cat choice shapes your strategy.
Satisfying Combat
Feel the weight of every blow and the crushing pain of every failed upgrade. Short, intense runs are perfect for a quick dopamine rush or that "just one more try" feeling.
Endless Replayability
RNG forging and build combinations ensure no two runs are ever the same. Upgrade Scrolls and magical Trina items create unique build paths every time you play.
Full Controller Support
Dodge, forge, and survive from your couch. Fully playable with a controller and ready for handheld consoles. Because a failed +10 upgrade hurts just as much on a handheld.
Meet the Cats
A cat companion accompanies every run. Each cat is different, and true to reality, they all have their own attitude.
She automatically collects XP stones and loot, but she isn't very enthusiastic about it. You might need to persuade her to work harder during the run.
He doesn't bother with grunt work like looting. He's here for the vibes. With him by your side, your luck increases drastically. Expect higher drop rates and better Anvil success rates.
Every cat lover knows orange cats are pure chaos. He helps by attacking enemies, but watch out, he might occasionally attack you too. No guarantees!
His only characteristic is that he is fat and soft. He rarely leaves your side and offers absolutely no special perks. He's just here so he wouldn't feel sad. (He is doing his best.)
